These cups were produced to be distributed as part of an effort to engage and educate community members about compost process, locally and personally. 

I wrote these fortunes asking myself what about the process of composting feels important for folks to notice and apply to relationships they have to other parts of the environment. Before we can understand the rules of compost, perhaps we can seed ideas of the theory of composting. The synonyms for composting seem specifically relevant to community building. Relating composting to our personal ecologies proposes we recompose our thoughts, reclaim our desires or reintegrate compassion into our everyday life.

This piece is a reincorporation of a material obsession I have been thinking on since 2023. In this way my practice is also at times utilising composting process. Read more about the cups here.
